What Canopio is

Canopio is an independent Etsy fee and profit calculator. It was previously known as FeeMath. It is not affiliated with Etsy, Inc.

Calculator, score, and CSV (browser)

Order prices, costs, fees, profit figures, and CSV files you drop into the free calculator or the Shop Audit fallback are processed only in your browser. The listing score (title, tags, description you paste, or a listing opened from a connected shop) is scored only in your browser. We do not upload those numbers for scoring. If you buy a rewrite, the title, tags, and description for that one listing are sent to our model provider to generate the new copy; we keep a credit balance keyed to your checkout or license id. A license key, if you buy Shop Audit or a rewrite pack, is stored in this browser’s local storage so the unlock survives a refresh.

Etsy connection (server)

If you click Connect Etsy, you authorize Canopio on Etsy’s consent screen. We store OAuth tokens for your Etsy user so we can pull active listings and recent sold transactions. That catalog data passes through our servers in Japan. We use it only to show your shop audit and to prefill listing rewrite. Disconnect on Canopio deletes our session and stored tokens. To fully revoke access, also use Etsy → Account settings → Apps → Revoke. We do not write listings back to Etsy.

What else we collect

• Support email. If you write to support@canopio.io, we keep the correspondence as needed to reply.
• Payments. Paid products are processed by Creem, who acts as merchant of record. Card and tax data are handled by Creem under their privacy notice, not stored on Canopio servers.
• Older waitlist emails. If you previously submitted the waitlist form, we may still hold that address until you ask us to delete it.

Cookies and tracking

After Connect Etsy, we set an HttpOnly session cookie (canopio_etsy) so we know which shop to pull. The site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics pixels. Your browser may still send standard technical request logs to the host (for example IP address and user agent) as part of serving the page.

How long we keep shop tokens

OAuth tokens stay until you Disconnect on Canopio, or until Etsy’s refresh token expires (about 90 days of inactivity). Listing payloads are requested on demand and are not kept as a separate archive. Support mail is kept as long as needed to handle the request. Older waitlist addresses are deleted on request. Legal bases and your rights

If you are in the EEA/UK, payment data is processed by Creem. You may request access, correction, or deletion of any email we hold by writing to the support address above.

Children

Canopio is intended for adult shop operators. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
