About

One person, one question: what does the shop actually keep?

Canopio is built and run by Deng Daqiang (DQ) · Contact · support@canopio.io

Why Canopio exists

Each Etsy fee is easy to understand on its own: $0.20 to list, 6.5% on the order, a processing fee, and sometimes an Offsite Ads fee. Adding them up for a real order is where it goes wrong. The 6.5% also applies to the shipping you charge. The fixed $0.20 and $0.25 take a much bigger share of a $4 sticker than of a $40 print. An Offsite Ads sale can take another 12–15% of the order. A listing that looks fine on paper can quietly lose money.

Canopio is my attempt to make that math visible: one order at a time for free, or across the whole shop if you want it.

Who is behind it

Canopio is a one-person project. I'm Deng Daqiang, and I design, build, support and pay for it myself. There's no team, no investors and no company behind it. When you email support, I'm the one who reads it and replies.

The project launched under the name FeeMath and was renamed Canopio in September 2026. It has nothing to do with Canopio Limited (the solar company) or any other business using the name, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by Etsy, Inc.

What it does

How your data is handled, in plain words

The full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How I keep the numbers honest

Fee rates come from Etsy's own Help Center (fees and taxes, payment processing, Offsite Ads). Etsy changes its fees from time to time, and your Shop Manager is always the final word. If you spot a rate that has moved or a calculation that looks wrong, please tell me. Fixing it is the top priority.

Canopio doesn't promise rankings and doesn't sell search-volume data. It does one thing: it shows you the margin.
